Back on Sunday I went to the 2nd day of the Bridge School benefit concert in Mountain View. The line-up was:
- Neil Young (Didn't see.)
- Cat Power (Saw the last song or two. Pretty good. Nice voice.)
- Wilco (Great. Duh.)
- Death Cab for Cutie (Eh. They did play that song I like, "I Will Possess Your Heart". But not the long version.)
- Smashing Pumpkins (Eh. He brought in Josh Groban to sing "Disarm". LAME.)
- Josh Groban (I managed to avoid the entire set by standing in line for half an hour to buy a crappy mocha.)
- Norah Jones (Good. Based on what I was hearing around me, though, some of the positive audience reaction may just have been because she's cute.)
- Jack Johnson (Ugh. He sucks. I also had a headache. I slept for a bit. I also listened to my iPod for a bit.)
- Neil Young (Good. Funny that the biggest audience reaction was to his cover of the Beatles' "A Day in the Life". Can't complain, though -- it was a good cover.)
